Before QuisLex, I was practicing law in the Calcutta High Court. I was fulfilling my family destiny as the 4th generation of lawyers to do so. But I was unfulfilled. Then 11 years ago I found QuisLex and my legal perspective became global.

Historically, nondisclosure agreements have been limited in scope, purpose and length, making them a relatively easy function of contracting. But as organizations increasingly include data processing addenda or related privacy and security terms to their NDA templates, those agreements are becoming more complex.

My journey with QuisLex really began after I finished law school at the University of Chicago in 2011. Big Law didn’t feel like the place for me. I was just 25 and wanted to see more of the world and have an adventure.

Observed on March 8, International Women’s Day recognizes and celebrate women’s social, economic, cultural and political achievements around the world. It’s also a time to raise awareness of the progress made toward achieving gender equality and the work remaining to be done.

Many things have evolved over the past few years, largely informed by changes made during the pandemic. The widespread acceptance of distributed work environments, new technologies and cloud-based solutions may have permanently changed how we work.
